Combine the chicken, 1 tablespoon of oil, paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a large bowl or ziploc bag. Stir to coat the chicken with the seasoning.
1 ½ pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil, ¾ teaspoon Paprika, ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt, ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder, ¼ teaspoon Onion Powder, ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil in an oven safe pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil it hot, add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the chicken is golden brown.
Remove the pan from heat and pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken. Cover the pan and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature of the chicken measures 165 °F (74 °C) on a meat thermometer.
1 Cup BBQ Sauce of choice
Remove from the oven and allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
